    2 1/2 cups cake flour (2 /14 a/p flour +1/4 cornflour 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt Sift together in a bowl Add flour mixture to bowl. Add 350g sugar mix on low just to combine 113g butter 1/3 cup crisco or oil Add to dry ingredients mix on low for 1-2 minutes until it looks sandy. In a bowl add 240g whole milk 3 eggs 3 egg yolks 3 tsp vanilla mix together to combine Add half liquid to the dry ingredients and blend to combine on low increase to medium speed and mix for 2 minutes Add the other half of liquid and mix for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape the bowl and pour into 2 x 9”pans or 3 x 8” pans 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes

I got to that point you mentioned about it looking like it would look like it was breaking down? I closed my eyes and let the KitchenAid whirl away all the time chanting in my head c'mon pastry gods, don't let Chef Alan fail me now 😂. It was perfection. The consistency, taste and finish is beautiful. I will be using it in the morning to ice the first cake on my "bucket list".     I watched a flower video a few years back and in it you used gelatin to make parts of the flowers with... can't find it now. I wanted to order the molds and whatever else I need to go with them. Do you stull sell them? I sure hope so because I have thought about them constantly since I watched those videos! Those flowers were beautiful:)

      @@GlobalSugarArtyoutube I can honestly tell you given the times we are in if you were to start a small live decorating course with limited sign ups per session where people could interact and receive instruction and correction you would have people signing up on a waiting list. A small private course for us who have the time and desire to learn from you would go over well. I wish you would consider it and perhaps start a patreon to raise funds for a small place. Can't speak for others but I know 150% I'd be one of the ones supporting it and fighting for a sign up slot. Regardless Mr. Alan thank you for responding. I'm glad you are here and well.
